General Notes:
Reichsfeld is a small village located at the variation of the road axes, at the bottom of the small valley of Schernetz. The houses are broods on an undulating ground. The armorial bearings which make place with Saint-Urbain (name of the church), owner of the vine growers, testify to the early wine vocation of this commune, located at the foot of l'Ungersberg. The village is a possession of noble the d'Andlau of XV century to the Revolution. The resources of the commune come mainly from exploitation of the forest, which occupies more half of communal surface, and culture of the vine. Reichsfeld is also the starting point of many excursions towards Ungersberg, Hohwald, the valley of Ville'. 28
